Private Home Organisation
What areas of the home do you organise?
Our current services include wardrobes and dressing rooms, kitchens and pantries, playrooms and coordinated private-home projects involving several spaces within one residence.
Do I need to be present throughout the project?
Not necessarily. You may be involved throughout or, where appropriate, a personal assistant, housekeeper or other authorised household representative can coordinate access and practical arrangements. Decisions requiring your authority are referred back to you.
Will you decide what I should throw away?
No. We may identify items that appear duplicated, unused, outgrown or better placed elsewhere, but decisions about what permanently leaves the home remain with you or your authorised representative. Where items are not to remain in the organised space, they can be set aside carefully within the property for you or your representative to handle. We do not dispose of, donate, sell or remove belongings on your behalf.
Is this a cleaning service?
No. From London with Lux. provides professional home organisation rather than cleaning or housekeeping. We do not use detergents, chemicals or cleaning products as part of the service. Where necessary during organisation, a light dry wipe with a clean cloth may be used to remove minor loose dust, but washing, scrubbing, polishing, stain removal and general housekeeping are outside the service.
Do you provide storage products?
Where new hangers, baskets, dividers, organisers or protective storage would improve the space, suitable options can be recommended. Existing storage is retained wherever it works well.
Planning Your Project
How does a project begin?
The first step is an enquiry. We ask you to tell us which spaces you would like help with, what currently feels difficult and what you would like to improve. We then discuss the most appropriate next steps.
Will I need to send photographs or a video of my home?
We may ask for a small number of photographs where they would help us understand the space and prepare the appropriate scope. If anything remains unclear after reviewing them, we may then ask for a short 1–2 minute video walkthrough. We will explain what is useful to show, and there is no need to include people, documents, valuables or anything you would prefer not to share.
Can I organise only one room?
Yes. Projects can focus on one clearly defined space, such as a wardrobe, pantry or playroom, or involve several areas of the same residence.
Can a larger project be completed in stages?
Yes. Where appropriate, larger private-home projects can be planned in phases so that priority spaces are completed first while maintaining a clear approach for the wider residence.
How long does a project take?
The time required depends on the size of the space, the volume of belongings, the decisions involved and the agreed scope of work. Timing is discussed once we understand the project in more detail.
Privacy, Care & Discretion
How are personal and valuable belongings handled?
Belongings are handled carefully and discreetly throughout the project. Sensitive, valuable or personally significant items are treated with particular care, and specialist work such as valuation, authentication or conservation is not undertaken as part of the organisation service.
Is information about my household kept private?
We take a discreet approach to information shared in connection with private-home projects and use it only as necessary to understand and deliver the agreed service.
Can a PA or housekeeper arrange the service?
Yes. A personal assistant, housekeeper or other authorised household representative may make the initial enquiry and coordinate practical arrangements where appropriate.
